Rooted in a lifetime of personal experience fishing these Saskatchewan waters, we offer deep local knowledge with a long-standing passion for the sport. Alan Evans

Alan is a professional fishing and hunting guide who enjoys turning a day on the water into an unforgettable experience landing trophy walleye and pike. He combines his high-energy and love of life to teach guest of all ages tricks, tips and the thrill of the catch.

Nixie dog

Nyxie

Nyxie is a spirited six-year-old German Shorthair Pointer who officially runs the show as the lodge’s four-legged hostess and head of guest relations. From high-energy backyard antics to fireside snuggles, she’s on a mission to ensure every visitor leaves with a wagging tail and a heart full of puppy love.

River Hills Lodge

Enjoy Modern Comfort At

Our newly remodeled River Hills Lodge is located in the Resort Village at Beaver Flat on the shores of Lake Diefenbaker. The community of Beaver Flat has a fabulous community park with access to golf, pickleball, playgrounds, folf course and a walking trail.
